A Longwave (LW 365nm) UV lamp will only show the blue cleiophane sphalerite fluorescence shown in the pictures.
With a Shortwave (SW 254nm) UV light you will see the green willemite fluorescence.

*You will need a filtered Shortwave UV light, Midwave UV light, or a longwave UV light in order to see different fluorescence shown in each picture (as marked with each picture with Sw/Lw/Mw).

*Regular black lights, purple lights, or blue lights DON'T usually work for fluorescent minerals, so make sure you use the proper indicated UV light*

This specimen has stunning cleiophane sphalerite sprinkled throughout a willemite, calcite, and franklinite specimen.

This specimen was photographed using a UVTools 36 watt Shortwave UV light, a Engineous Designs midwave (MW) UV flashlight, and a Convoy s2+ Longwave UV flashlight. The pictures have not been retouched.

-Shortwave lamps have a range of 200-280 nm. (254 nm are recommended)
-Midwave lights have a spectrum of 280-315 nm and are also called UVA. (310-314 nm are recommended)
-Longwave lights have a spectrum of 315-400 nm and are also called UVA. (365 are recommended)
